I used to say, have jokingly, I aspired to be the NHS's first euthanasia nurse specialist - but I suspect that such a role may not be that far away?
ReplyDeleteThere is a curious conflation between medical ethics and religion when it comes to sanctity of life, one as an atheist I find hard to fathom.
Why should Martin suffer such pain, and when will medical authorities recognise that not all pain is amenable to polypharmacy?
