In the ten plus years that DZ has maintained this site he has persistently refused to have advertising material feature on his pages. As a NHS consultant he was not underpaid, and was able to afford the luxury of avoiding advertising as a matter of principal.
Now I'm retired I find that, every little helps, so I've dropped my resistance and will now allow ads on my pages. I'm sorry if any of my readers find this detracts.
Please be aware that I have have no control over what sort of ads appear. And also any ad that does appear should not be taken as an endorsement from me.
You never know, some of them might be quite funny.
