Weather

An impromptu day off today due to the snow. I have never known it like this in November. Inconvenient though it is this sort of weather brings extraordinary beauty. This picture was taken on Sunday just a few miles from my home.

    Snow is a wonderful thing to view when freshly lain, cloaking the world in a wonderful white blanket. I love the way it carresses the trees - making their stark winter silhouette magical.

    I love sitting outside (in a shelter) watching the snow fall from the heavens - it is hypnotic; follow it from up high until it touches the earth and it confuses the eye/brain and makes me feel happily dizzy.

    Love it - that is until it becomes slushy and dirty, and then the magic is gone!
